What is M.A.D.C.E.?

MADCE is an acronym for Midland Association of Dow Corning Employees. MADCE was formed early in the company's history in 1950. (Dow Corning was formed in 1943). People like you wanted to get together and have a good time bowling, playing golf or bingo. Volunteers decided to take the time to organize the events.

Euchre tournament: 2/yr, oct - March

Texas Hold'em tournament: 2/yr ,1^st Saturday in Dec and Feb or March

Midland County Fair MADCE Picnic: Last day of Midland County Fair

Auction & Furniture Sale: Variable

Bingo: 2 Dates in October

Scrapbooking: Variable

Sporting Clays, Skeet, and Trap Shoot: May

Michigan Adventure discount tickets: Spring (March)

Detroit Tiger bus trip: Summer (June to August), 1 trip 2 Busses

Detroit Red Wing bus trip: 2/yr in winter

Dutch Village Adventure mini golf & more: Spring

Mixed Doubles Bowling: Feb, week of Valentines Day

5 person team bowling: (Early January to March)

Golf: 1st Saturday in June
